Automatic Shut-off
How It Works
- Freeze mitigation: DEF freezes at –11 °C (+12 °F). Receiver, tanks, hoses, and fittings must be heated or drained.
- Air exposure control: Vent lines include check valves to prevent backflow of ambient air.
- Self-sealing valves: Nozzle incorporates self-sealing valves that close automatically.
Instructions
- Ensure all components are rated for DEF compatibility.
- Insulate or heat all lines to avoid freeze-blockage.
- Minimize air exposure during transfer and storage.
- Perform regular maintenance of seals, valves, and heaters.
Note
Can be filled from remote fill point via heated/insulated piping
